Senior Data Journalist, Culture Amp

Heather Walker, Ph.D., is a Senior Data Journalist at Culture Amp, supporting our people science research team. Heather received her Ph.D. in Disability Studies and MS in Disability and Human Development from the University of Illinois Chicago. She specializes in DEIBA in the workplace with an emphasis on disability inclusion. Heather has been with Culture Amp since 2022, when she started as a People Scientist supporting customers in North America. She is motivated by finding the stories embedded within our insights and data lake and sharing them with a broader audience.

Before coming to Culture Amp, Heather taught courses at the University level on accessibility, universal design, social justice, and DEI principles.

Heather’s interests and speaking topics include: access as a major issue facing workplaces today, DEI, change management, community and belonging, and wellbeing at work.
