November 15, 2023 - San Francisco, Melbourne, London. Today marks a significant milestone for Culture Amp, a company renowned for its commitment to creating a better world of work. The Culture Amp Foundation was launched today, and is dedicated to making a positive impact beyond the corporate landscape.

"The Culture Amp Foundation is where we will bring the mission of our organization - to create a better world of work - into reality for even more people around the world, especially for those who haven’t traditionally been included and heard,” said Didier Elzinga, Co-Founder and CEO of Culture Amp. “

Chess Jakobs, the inaugural leader of the Culture Amp Foundation said, "When Didier extended the invitation, I knew it was something I needed to be a part of. We want to go beyond traditional corporate philanthropy and truly embed ourselves in the causes that matter."

With the launch of the Foundation, its first grant recipient has been announced. The Foundation proudly supported Indigitek, an Australian organization that fosters Indigenous innovation and entrepreneurship in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.

“I couldn’t be prouder of starting our Foundation work by supporting an organization in Australia - where it all began.” said Didier Elzinga, “They are doing such incredible work for Indigenous Australian entrepreneurs and giving access to learning in ways that haven’t been done before. It feels right to start this Foundation by recognising the heritage and history that has come before us.”

The Culture Amp Foundation takes a holistic approach to philanthropy, providing monetary grants to organizations focused on making a better world of work more attainable. The Foundation will also foster skills based volunteering for its employees to directly support and impact NFP organizations. As Culture Amp moves forward, the Culture Amp Foundation emphasizes that creating a better world, and world of work, is not just a mission but a shared responsibility.

The Foundation builds upon Culture Amp’s existing discount and grant offerings, including a 35% discount for qualifying non-profits and a 10% discount for B Corps. Additionally, as part of its anti-racism commitments, the company provides free software up to $25,000 through the Kevin Wiggins Racial Justice Grant and a 38% discount to Black and Indigenous owned businesses in recognition of the wage gap for Black women.

"We give back, not up. The world of work can and will be better, and the Culture Amp Foundation will work tirelessly to make that better world of work more attainable," says Chess Jakobs.
