Culture Amp expands C-Suite with addition of Katharina Matsui as Chief Revenue Officer
4 November 2024, San Francisco, New York, London, Melbourne, Berlin. Culture Amp, the world’s leading employee experience platform, is delighted to announce the appointment of Katharina Matsui to its executive leadership team as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Matsui brings more than 15 years of experience leading technology sales, account management and operations across organizations including Amazon Web Services and Twilio.
Based in Seattle, Matsui further strengthens Culture Amp’s executive presence in the region, following the recent appointment of Neera Desai as GM North America. Responsible for driving Culture Amp’s sustainable growth strategy, Matsui will work with customers, and across processes and products to enhance and refine the company’s operating model and drive further growth across priority segments, industries, and regions.
“We are thrilled to welcome Katharina to Culture Amp and to the Executive team,” said Didier Elzinga, CEO and Co-Founder of Culture Amp. “With her track record of building high-performing teams, driving operational excellence and scaling revenue while leading as a culture first leader, we’re excited for the contribution Katharina will make at Culture Amp as we continue to deliver on our mission of creating a better world of work for companies around the world.”
Before joining Culture Amp, Matsui led growth and transformation at a variety of technology giants. In her most recent roles, Matsui oversaw global sales at OneTrust, an Atlanta-based startup, and led a 300+ strong sales organization at Twilio, where she helped bring in new logos, retain customers and build and optimize sales processes in excess of $1B. Matsui had previously spent 4 years at Amazon Web Services where she built and globally scaled a team of Partner Managers and its supporting functions including Marketing, Operations, and Solution Engineering into a $1B partnerships business.
“There's a great team in place at Culture Amp and I’m looking forward to working with them to achieve our sales goals and drive growth,” said Katharina Matsui, Chief Revenue Officer at Culture Amp. “This role presents a unique opportunity for me to do more of what I love - which is to build, scale and optimize operations - while working towards the critical mission for all companies, which is building better culture. Companies today are striving to be better and do better, and the future of organizations is more reliant on culture now than it ever has been before.”
